Real Estate Resources
When buying or selling a home, good information is knowledge and knowledge is power.
Several web sites can help you, the consumer, find information about real estate, file a complaint, understand the Realtors® Code of Ethics , or provide general assistance through on line documents.
The Buyer’s Advisory is provided by the Arizona Association of Realtors® in both Spanish and English. This document gives the buyer information with links to various departments within the local and state governments and highlights important information which buyers should be aware. Your Realtor® will provide you with a copy of the Advisory in English and require you to initial all pages and sign the last page. The Buyer's Advisory is also available online in Spanish.
The AAR website contains consumer assistance with links to buyer and seller resources which include financing, interpreters, fair housing, complaints, landlord-tenant information, crime statistics, plus a myriad of other information.
The Realtor® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice is also in Spanish and English.
Consumer guidance is also given by the Arizona Department of Real Estate as well as the National Association of Realtors®.
A glossary of real estate terms defines real estate terminology.
